United Kingdom | Harvard Law School, Master of Laws
Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Allan Hennessy grew up in London. At HLS, Allan will specialize in political theory, human rights, international and comparative law; he is particularly interested in the concept of non-discrimination and the inadequacies of equality law frameworks to combat intersectional forms of discrimination. He is keen to explore the concept of ‘intersectionality’ in the context of disability rights law. After Harvard, Allan will return to the UK to start his pupillage with Brick Court Chambers, the leading set in the UK for human rights, EU and (international) commercial law.
