Dr. Ahmed Kerwan graduated from the University of Oxford and King’s College London with prizes and distinctions before starting as an NHS Academic Medical Doctor and Clinical Supervisor at the University of Cambridge. During his tenure, Ahmed co-authored a series of peer-reviewed scientific papers on Covid, surgery, and health economics which were amongst the globally most cited publications of their respective years. After completing his Clinical Academic training, Ahmed joined the first NHS-backed Venture Capital fund as an Investor, where he identified, evaluated, and conducted rigorous due diligence on early-stage healthcare technology companies. As he embarks on his next chapter at Harvard, Ahmed is eager to dive deeper into the confluence of public health, technology, and entrepreneurship whilst exploring the USA.
