Ben is a lawyer who is passionate about using his position to advocate for marginalized groups, particularly First Nations people. His study at Harvard will focus on how constitutional, administrative and criminal law doctrines can recognize and protect minority interests. Ben has been a judicial associate at the High Court of Australia and the Federal Court of Australia and has also worked as a criminal lawyer in Alice Springs in Central Australia, providing legal aid to clients who could not otherwise afford legal assistance. Outside of law, Ben enjoys long-distance running and (Australian) Football.
