At the Harvard Kennedy School, Charlie will explore methods for improving decision-making within climate diplomacy, with a particular focus on widening participation for historically marginalized communities. Charlie previously practiced climate change law in the UK and Australia with Norton Rose Fulbright LLP. He has also worked with the Youth Negotiators Academy to train young people to participate in UN Climate Change conferences as part of their national delegations, and with the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and Climate Change to research carbon market reforms to protect the free, prior and informed consent of Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
