Kristina Baier is a Canadian physician, with a passion for providing trauma-informed care to marginalized populations. Her medical training has provided opportunities for her to witness the challenges of providing medical care in various low-resource settings spanning three continents, which inspired her to continue her work at the intersection between health and human rights. At the Harvard T.H. Chan School, Kristina intends to harness a skillset to become a public health practitioner with a focused interest in policy-level prevention and response to gender-based violence in humanitarian settings.
